Check the promotion terms
Each coupon or promotion may have its own eligibility requirements. Before using a code, read the offer details for any stated restrictions, qualifying items or orders, and applicable dates.
A code may not apply to every product or order. The checkout result is the clearest way to confirm whether a discount applies to your cart.
Discounts and gift cards
Whether a coupon can be used with a gift card depends on the specific order and the options Shopify checkout makes available. Review the final order total before completing payment.

Expiration, returns, and cancellations
Use a coupon within the validity period shown with the offer. If an order using a coupon is changed, cancelled, or returned, the refund is handled according to the offer terms and our Returns & Refunds policy. A coupon may not be restored after it has been used.
Review the order and refund summaries for the discount applied to eligible items. If an offer specifies a minimum spend, returning items may affect whether the remaining order still qualifies.
If your coupon does not work
- Check that you entered the code correctly, including any letters or numbers.
- Review the promotion details and confirm your cart meets the stated requirements.
- Check the order summary after applying the code to see whether checkout accepted it.
